Honduras rejects socialism and foreign interventionists, ...demands respect for their national sovereignty...
Leaked Email From Honduran Citizen Reveals Why Obama Supports Castro/Chavez Style Tyranny, not Democracy in Honduras.
By: Jay Taylor
Our President and his loyal media drones have continued to show their unwavering support for a want-to-be dictator in Honduras. President Manuel Zelaya violated numerous laws in the Honduran constitution and was lawfully removed from office.
This constitutionally-legal removal from office—for treason—has been called, and continues to be called, a coup by the mainstream leftist media. It is a disgrace that our media perpetuates this myth and that Zelaya gets any sympathy from the international community. America’s government should be standing on the side of freedom, not a dictator on a power grab.
Last week, the Library of Congress published a non-partisan report for Congress on whether Zelaya’s removal was constitutional. The report supports the actions of the Honduran government. In fact, the report points out that the Honduran constitution states that a president is automatically removed from office for attempting to change the term limit requirement.
Liberal blogs are going to town trying to discredit the report, claiming that it has flaws all through it. The bottom line: read the document and stay out of freedom’s movement to stop a want-to-be dictator.
My uncle has been to Honduras several times on missionary trips and has a number of friends there. The following is an email he received that discusses the political situation there. Americans need to make it known that they support the actions of the Honduran government and send a clear message to our press and government to stop fiddling with their democracy.
I also encourage you to contact your representatives, senators, and local media and demand that they stop calling this impeachment a coup. Show your support for the democracy of Honduras before it is too late. If we don’t, this may be an indication of where our own county will be heading in a few years.

This came from a pre-law student in Honduras. It shows how he has indicated to me that most Hondurans feel about what is going on in their country. It also shows how they feel the press/media has treated their situation and what most of them view as their legitimate government, which has followed their constitution - even though it is different from ours.

Hi there bro...It was reconforting to know once more I can count on you, well, you're the only one, plus God. It was a terrible news to know I couldn't go to the bank until 2 days after you sent the card.
All this situation is driving many people crazy already, however many including me know, that we must keep our heads up and proceed to democracy and justice.
Despite this thing of "toque de queda" and staying at home all day long, we understand it is for our safety, as Zelaya´s people are protagonizing looting, destruction of private property by Zelaya´s command and his follower's leaders. Today there was a march from the building of the United Nations up to the USA Embassy in favor of democracy, justice, peace, and no intervention of foreign sates in our affairs.
I'll let you know I assisted because it is my duty, despite that my voice will not be heard worldwide, but my love for Honduras and being a patriot are more important feelings and virtues than just thinking about them.
It isnt fair that many countries of the world want to make logs of the fallen tree, or throwing more logs into the fire. It is to us Hondurans, to solve what is happening here, other countries want to intervene, things is, that they dont respect and dont show any neutrality, they just want Zelaya back on power without even listening and by the way telling us that if Zelaya wants socialism in Honduras we shouldn't object this!!!! Never, we will turn Honduras into a dictatorship and tyrany!!!! Never!!!!
They want us to reinstate a man that after the former government had already eliminated the foreign debt of Honduras he duplicated it in the first 6 months of his rule, money that was supposed to be used in the elimination of poverty and hospital building, not eliminating Zelaya's frustrated dreams of power!!!
What the world and specifically South America are concerned about is the domino effect, as the people in all latin america will rise against their dictators, such as, Kirchner in Argentina, Correa in Ecuador, Ortega in Nicaragua, Castro in Cuba, Bachelet in Chile, and finally the mainly mostly responsible Chavez in Venezuela. Well,we dont want and that will be it.
